The Berben Design Team
We are Rogier & Cheryl: two music and wood enthusiasts that love to design en create unique and sustainable products. Partners in business since 2021 and in life since 2017. We are a small business dedicated to crafting high-quality products specifically designed for musicians and all other lovers of music.
How it all started
In 2014, drummer Rogier Berben founded Berben Design to merge his love for music and woodworking, transforming old drums into clocks, lamps, and tables. Initially operating from his father's garage, the business soon outgrew the space, prompting a move to its very own workshop. In 2021, Cheryl joined, turning Berben Design into a two-person venture.
Our Workshop
Since 2018, our workshop inside a repurposed factory in Tilburg (NL) has been the heart of our craft, where we carefully create all our products. Over the years, we've expanded our space and gathered valuable tools, including a laser cutter and CNC-milling machine. We're proud to be part of Ateliers013: a community of talented creatives sharing this inspiring space.
Innovation & sustainability
We are dedicated to crafting one-of-a-kind products that resonate with musicians and music lovers alike. We strive for perfection in every piece. But our passion for innovation doesn't stop there. We are also deeply committed to sustainability, using materials as responsibly sourced as possible and minimizing our carbon footprint. In our workshop nothing goes to waste, every bit of wood and material is put to use.
